Our bride and groom, Cathy and Reza, chose to begin their marriage journey with two ceremonies set in beautiful Austin, Texas.
Preceded by a rehearsal dinner at Fogo de Chao, they started their wedding with a traditional Christian ceremony at the Central Christian Church followed by a Persian ceremony and reception at The Driskill in downtown Austin. Guests enjoyed a festive atmosphere steeped in culture and family history with displays of family wedding gowns, pictures, and the dancing of the traditional Persian knife dance before cutting the cake. After kicking off their celebration with a choreographed first dance, Cathy and Reza danced the night away until they rode off into their life together showered by rose petals and chauffeured by a pedicab into the streets of Austin.
